  11. I just bought this modem a couple of days and I wanted to know what
  12. are the pluses of minuses of it.  I notice that it doesn't support
  13. class 2 faxes nor has it a UART chip.  I've been looking around the
  14. net to see of that Chip is an asset or an excess, but as of yet I
  15. haven't found any useful info.

  17. My question: is the lack of class 2 fax capability or the UART
  18. anything I need for performance or is it just stuff nice to have.
  19. The modem cost me $99, so i figured that it was a deal, but then I
  20. started to question the low price.  Thanks.
